Glyfo does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. It has no network code at all — no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app does happens on your PC.
To do its job, Glyfo reads:
Glyfo only captures the screen at the moment you ask it to. It does not watch, record, or monitor your screen in the background.
Nowhere. Text recognition uses the OCR engine built into Windows. On Copilot+ PCs, the improved recogniser and the translation feature use the AI models that ship with Windows and run on the device’s own hardware. Read-aloud uses the speech voices installed in Windows. None of these send your images or text off the device, and Glyfo makes no internet connections of its own.

You can delete the two %TEMP% items at any time; Glyfo recreates them as needed. Uninstalling
Glyfo removes its settings.
Glyfo is a general-purpose utility. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
